"THIS SUPERB RECONSRUCTED CHEMIST SHOP IN WORCESTER CITY MUSEUM IS SET TO BE STORED IN A WAREHOUSE FOR EVER UNLESS YOU CAN HELP. I WENT TO THE TOWN ON FRIDAY AND FOUND THE MAIN PURPOSE OF VISIT CLOSED. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS A CURATOR ALLOWED ME IN, BUT I WAS SHOCKED AS EVERYTHING HAD TAGS ON READY TO BE BOXED UP. HE TOLD ME THE DISPLAY HAD BEEN ON SHOW FOR NION 30+ YEARS. AS THERE HAD BEEN A NEW MANAGER ON THE SCENE, HE IN HIS MENTALLY DERANGED WISDOM RECKONS THE SHOP IT IS NOT VIABLE. THE CHAP I SPOKE TO WAS VIRTUALLY IN TEARS AS HE HIMSELF WAS RESPONSABLE FOR ITS RECONSTRUCTION BACK IN 1973. IT WAS BOUGHT FOR A TOTAL OF £2,500"

I HAVE THE NAMES OF THE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO DISTROY THIS BEAUTIFUL COLLECTION SHOULD YOU WISH TO WRITE A LETTER OF COMPLAINT. YOU MAY NOT COLLECT OR BE INTERESTED IN APOTHECARY STUFF BUT I AM ASKING YOU ALL TO HELP AND KEEP THIS DISPLAY ON DISPLAY FOR ALL TO SEE. EVEN YOUNG CHILDREN WHO NEED TO BE EDUCATED ON VICTORIAN LIFE. AFTER WE CARE FOR BOTTLES THROUGH THIS VERY SUBJECT"
